Water is the essence of life: without water, there would be no life on earth. It helps us grow our food, keep us alive, and support the intricate, interconnected ecosystems and food chain upon which our planet depends. It’s every part of life. But without safe, clean, plentiful water, well, that’s a different story.

Every single day, 1,000 children die from illnesses like diarrhea, dysentery, and cholera caused by contaminated water and inadequate sanitation.

We’re on a mission to build water systems to improve infrastructure to give the most vulnerable communities access to clean water and to protect children from waterborne diseases. And it’s working. In South Kivu Province, Democratic Republic of Congo, last year, we empowered over 70,713 people with access to clean water. Lives = changed.

Anything is possible with clean water.

It’s an easy thing to take for granted, but we’d be nowhere without it. These stats put things in perspective.

Help us reach more people than ever before.

We work to enable people to provide for themselves, see their children grow up strong, and for whole communities to prosper. And with the help of our supporters, we’ve saved millions of lives.

But there is still work to be done.

Check out our gift store that empowers you to provide lifesaving clean water to families in need, while honoring someone that you love. Whether it’s a water filter, hygiene kit, or a school bathroom - you can make a huge difference with the click of a button.

Give a gift and change a life. It’s a win-win!
